Creating a Memoryscape Celebration Film is a seamless and heartfelt process designed to honour your loved one’s legacy. From the first enquiry to the final delivery, we guide you through each step with care and professionalism.
Our team oversees personal interviews, curates meaningful photos and videos, and crafts a beautifully cinematic tribute. The final film is delivered within four weeks, with an opportunity for revisions to ensure it perfectly reflects your loved one’s story and the moments that mattered most.

2. Consultation & Planning
Memoryscape will contact you to set up a meeting or video call to:
– Walk you through the process – Nominate a point of contact (if appropriate) – Explain how to upload photos and videos – Schedule shoot dates and locations (e.g., funeral/wake, workplace, family home, sporting club) – Provide a template to invite family, friends, and colleagues to participate – Address any questions or concerns
3. Filming Sessions
Memoryscape films interviews with family, friends, and colleagues, allowing up to two hours per session
4. Media Submission Closes
One week after filming, media uploads close, and editing begins
5. Editing & First Draft
The editing process takes two weeks, after which the first draft is sent to the main contact for review
6. Feedback & Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included, with one week allocated for feedback
7. Final Delivery
The Completed film is delivered on a Memoryscape USB and an online link

2. How long is the final film?
The Memoryscape Documentary Celebration Film is 25-30 minutes long. The Memoryscape Mini-Documentary Film and the Legacy Farewell Film are available in 18-20 minutes or 8-10 minutes long. All are carefully edited to highlight your loved one’s journey, values, and impact.
3. How does the process work?
The process includes an initial consultation, scheduling interviews, collecting photos and videos, professional filming and editing, and final delivery via USB and online link. You can watch a video on the process here.
4. Who can be included in the film?
Anyone who played a meaningful role in your loved one’s life – family members, friends, colleagues, mentors, teammates, or anyone else who wishes to share their memories.
5. Where does the filming take place?
Filming can take place at a funeral or wake (if timely), a family home, a workplace, a sporting club, or any meaningful location of your choice.
6. How do I provide photos and videos?
We provide an easy-to-use upload link for you and invited participants to submit photos and video clips. We’ll guide you through the process during the consultation.
7. How long does it take to complete the film?
The final film is delivered within four weeks from the filming date. This includes time for editing and two rounds of revisions.
8. Can I request edits after the first draft?
Yes! Two rounds of feedback and revisions is included in the package. We allow one week for feedback, so prompt responses help keep the timeline on track.
9. What if I want additional revisions?
Additional revisions beyond the included two rounds may incur an additional fee, depending on the changes needed.
10. How is the final film delivered?
The completed film is provided on a Memoryscape USB and as an online link for easy sharing.
11. Can I order extra USB copies?
Yes! Additional USB copies are available for purchase. Let us know if you’d like extras for family and friends.

13. Do we need to pay for the film upfront?
We ask for a 50% deposit to begin work on your Memoryscape film, with the remaining balance due upon completion. This ensures we can secure filming dates, begin interviews, and start crafting your loved one’s story while giving you flexibility with the final payment.
